Hey Charlie,
What size Stasis/Alcon rotors do you have in front & are they vented?? We are having a hell of a time overheating the front rotors and cracking them w/our aggressive pad compound. Just curious, thx - and good luck at Cal. Speedway.

Those are 18x9.5 +22 offset. Also the car can fit 285 tires all day long. also in the pix are Toyo R888 255 which is 265 comparing to others tires. BFG Goodrich and Toyo measure their tires differently than others. Their 265 is actually 275. One time we order two sets of BFG Goodrich R1 275 dman wouldn't fit, when i measure it it was 305.

355mm alcon stasis. Are u sure your crack and not just vain on the rotor. Ours have **** load of vain. But it's normal not crazy or to worry about. WE do smoke our brake couple of time at Button hot *** summer. The best thing do is, at the end of each session instead just part your car, i would drive car around and cool the brake down.
Yeah, my car was just too heavy & underpowered to be as competitive as we wanted to be (we want to win!!). So we are putting together what we hope to be a more potent Street AWD Evo......however, we will be running the stock brakes (ducted).....I'm not real happy w/StaSis right now!!
Continued good luck w/your combo.

My car weighs 3420 w/Yang driving it - 3470 w/me driving. We run a Raybestos ST-43 enduro pad on the car. Very aggressive pad. When we were at Miller, I had just put new rotors on the car since I killed the first set when I was club tracking the car. By the end of the Miller weekend we had killed the brand new set. I had rotor temp. paint on them and we burned ALL of the paint off......that is over 612*!
I know that I need to duct my car in order to make these things live. It is just disappointing to spend that much money on front and back brakes, then destroy a grand worth of rotors in a weekend.........
Nothing wrong w/our setup, just very aggressive in the braking department.

ducting only helps inside of the rotor. Doe sit work, YES. you will notice the inside pads is thicker than the outside. You stick with Stasis pads. I don't why you guys needed that much braking
Plus i bet you you guys learn to decelerateand easy on the brake on those long straight or trail braking instead of braking hard and late that will cause you a lot of time. Turbo car and hard brake is a no no.
