I finally got a chance to get one of the video's up from The NEHA Ascutney hillclimb from a few weeks back. Over all it was a fun weekend. It had rained friday night all the way to early saturday morning making the road very slick. Everyone was wiggling around all over the place. Sunday ended up get rained out. I managed to finish 2nd in class. There was also a guy running a brand new GTR. Very pretty car. That car launch's like it was shot from a cannon. Enjoy!

nice man! what tires where you running?? howd they grip on the wet pavement?

 

Falken RT-615's. I love them. They are good in the wet until the get about half way down. Then they are not so nice. But over all its a great tire. They even last me all season.

 

oh man! those are my favorite tire of alll time! im pretty supprised they held in the rain like that tho.. i heard they dont have a very good wet traction.

 

It was wet but there wasn't a bunch of standing water. The thing is with the hill's is once they get wet they get slimy and they don't seem to want to dry. But ya its a great tire these are the second set I have run my friend also runs them on his STI and loves them to.

VERY focking cool! what would you say your average speed was? Hillclimbs are a dream of mine, but all we have here in CO are dirt.

 

Average for everyone was 51mph My time was a little fast then average so I would say around 69mph. Asctuney is defiantly not a speed hill. There isn't really a straight on the hill at all .
