APR Carbon Fiber Splitter NEW

I've been speaking with Obsoleteasian about a Carbon Fiber Splitter from APR that he is trying to put to gether a group buy on. The price looks to be around $250 PLUS shipping (depending on how many we can get in a group buy). Since I'm interested I'm hoping others will get in on the group buy and lower the price. The torsion bars are optional and the splitter screws into the original factory locations so no drilling is necessary (UNLESS you want the torsion bars).

Here is a photo or two....with more available in the original link:

I either love it or I hate it. I honestly can't tell. It's not like anything I've seen before, but that's not a bad thing!

Boston: Based on the pictures (and Obsoleteasian can jump in here and confirm) it does have the CF weave pattern like the wing.

T.S.: Personally I like it and plan to NOT install the torsion bars. My car is black, I want a little more aggressive look on the front and I don't want to lower it too much. I also don't want to drill new holes so I like tha fact that it uses factory attach points.

TRD: Maybe if you draw a picture....insert heavy sigh here. This is an APR design that they are testing on Obsoleteasian's car and I am trying to generate interest in a group buy to keep the price down. Neither of us have any real say in the design. I think if you check out the other available splitters out there you won't find much better ESPECIALLY for this price.

Mostly looks....although I'm sure there is some amount of downforce added to the front. For me it's cosmetic only. If I was looking for a performance piece for the track I'd research it a little more to see if it has been tested. It's probably no more or less functional than the rear wing at street speeds.
