Long day at ButtonWillow yesterday. The weather was perfect, but the wind was crazy throwing sand and dirt on the track. Anyway We manage to run fast enough to qualify for the superlap race next month. We are also the fastest qualifier. It was crazy seeing how many honda were there. Can't wait for next month. O0

Driven Intake Manifold works like a champ, throttle response is extra sensitive, the thing made so much TQ and making the turbo almost no lag. We spun all 4 tires, from 2nd to 4th gear. So we end up turning the boost down to 22psi and tires still spinning.

Whats that red thingie in the front bumper - some sort of datalogger or transponder device? Not a tow hook, is it?

 

it's a transponder the official uses to log our time. We have our own Data Acquisition.

we could give a rat *** how the car look to be honest. We care more about winning, and we are good at it. Unlike other shops posting pix on here showing nice stuff on their evo and call it a track car and yet never even see the track.

 

when are you guys done racing? I want those shifter risers made, - still having no luck finding aluminum tubes around here in BFE, Iowa.

we end up running 1:56 and low boost. IT was windy, the wind carry so much dirt ont he track. 7-8 cars crashed and god know how many went of the track. Couple of months back we did 1:53
