I was experimenting with ways to color the Evo8 headlight and I came up with this. It basically tinted the headlight and kept most of the reflective surface as it was before. I was going to go with straight black, but decided to keep it this way as I liked how it turned out. What do you guys think?

Just look at a stock VIII headlight and then look at these. You will be able to tell the difference.

 

all i see is removed the amber piece .... been done and blacked by me.

What else did you do and left the bottom chromed?

 

I think he just wanted an opinion on his finished product. and the difference is that he didn't do it flat black but kept the chrome as stated above.. all in all it looks great

i like it. but yeah to keep it more stock ix looking should have left that entire corner chrome with the amber insert in. still looks good though

Aside from the amber's, it looks like the real deal. Good job. I have a set of HID VIII's that i'm TSX modding and you just gave me an idea. What color paint did you use?
