Yeah I'll second that...on silver . The chrome looks classier to me. It may look good on yellow though.

just buy a 3M reflectorized tape and it will have the same effect. That's mitsu original color, but has since changed to silver.

I kow it's the original color, but the Evo seems above that. It might be *ok* on some other colors though. That seems a little Honda/Acura to me.

mikec - what kind of paint did u use for your rims? Is it metal paint? Is it waterproof? Does it come off after rim cleaner?

Inline, the paint is water-based but it's labeled permanent on the bottle. I'm not sure if it'll stand up to wheel cleaner but it was a simple enough process to do if it needs touching up in the future. I also did this to a prior ride (Mustang 5.0) and the paint held up well over the years. Cheers, Mike

why didnt u use the sticker.......vinyl .....however u spell it......quick to put on and remove also is easy to remove the bubbles........i like it though i have it done just to my wheels on my yellow evo didnt do it to the badge because it would kill the evo 8 trunk badge thats coming in the mail

SSKILLA, Assuming the decals cost 59¢, I might have used them instead of the paint that I picked up at the hobby shop down the road. I had good luck with paint on a prior vehicle.
