Question roadrace's A-pillar

I've heard that there have been some fitment issues with roadrace's CF A-pillar. Does anyone have any experience with this product? This looks like the best option for gauge placement, but it is expensive. Are there any other options for A-pillar mounts? Thanks!

i have the a-pillars installed last week. fit and finish was only acceptable, not perfect as described on their website. had to screw the top in place, while there are small gaps on the bottom and the speaker cut-out.

would you recommend this to others?

do you have any pics of the gaps and where you had to screw it in?

how does it look after installation? (i'm just curious if it is too much CF)

what gauges did you slap in there?

sorry for the load of questions, but I am VERY interested in this product.

thanks Jason

I was thinking about getting these too. Anyone else with fitment issues? Looking closely at the pics on the site someone seems to be holding the driver's side pillar in place.

I am also looking at A-piller Boost guage mounts. The ones that I have seen cover the tweeter also which is no good IMO.It would be awesome to see some photos of the a-pillers of real EVO owners v/s aftermarket parts website photos.

I am on the other hand looking at getting a turbo timer that also hase a boost guage on it.Would anyone recomend this?

Thanks

Why is it such a big deal that it covers the tweeter? I isn't really noticeable at all, due to how little sound actually comes out of those things. And if you can notice it, why are you running on the stock stereo anyways, shouldn't you upgrade to something else?

My pic shows up fine. I attached it, so it should be hosted by the forums.

Yea, I'm selling them. I think I have 1 that isn't spoken for in the first batch. PM me if you're interested.
