The Evo needs the larger wing. If you got it because you wife said no to the large one then I feel sorry for you. Unless she paid for it.

Common, that's a 30k car. The big wing makes it look more aggressive and its trademark that it is really an Evo. I know its free but why put a regular Lancer spoiler if there is an Evo spoiler? You want your Evo to look different maybe? Your Evo needs its big wing.

I think that's a lousy reason to get it - I would've gotten no Evo until she agreed to the one you wanted. What's the point of buying a 30K car and making concessions. You better believe I'd not waste that money on almost the car I want.

Regardless of that, I'd get the smaller spoiler out of choice - I don't want a car that sticks out too much. I don't think the Evo should look as aggressive as it does - I like past Evos where it was more of a sedan that no one noticed.

Anyway, not to say you should test it out or anything, but I remember someone suggesting the smaller spoiler didn't create enough downforce to keep the car stable in the >120MPH speed ranges. If you find that the case, I'd be interested to know. But please don't try it for my sake and be safe if you're going to ignore that caution.

Enjoy...

I like it. I am still not sure which wing I like better. I can see good reasons for each style. I may get a low profile wing before too long just to see how it looks.

doesn't look too bad, but like a hundred other people said, it's just not an EVO without the CF wing...

Much better. Everytime I see some kid with a huge wing on his car I laugh. Oh yeah, your'e a race car driver. This is much less ricey and has more of a sleeper quality to it.

They had 5 or so at the local dealership with the smaller wing like that. I don't really care for them, but its the owners chioce. The wing IS the evo, they have always had massive wings. It's like saying HEY LOOK AT ME!!!!
