If you own or even have pics of a buschur racing catback system. Please post it. Side/angled views only though. Also, NO EVO9 JDM bumpers.
I wanna see exactly how far this thing sticks out and how it looks.

I personally ran this exhaust on my USDM bumper and it does not stick out.. and does not need to be cut.. it sits flush with the bumper.. as you can see up there ^^ It only needs cut when running the JDM rear bumper.. which I am running.. but I'm getting the JDM rear bumper exhaust cut from them already with the relocated muffler in the center of the car and a straight pipe back. hope this helps..Originally Posted by 4G63K

the exhaust has not been altered...it is slip fit so I'm sure you can manipulate the length pretty easily
as far as polishing the tip...I don't want it to be noticeable...not really into bling

With the slip joints, it may vary depending on installation. But mine fits pretty well. It's not perfectly centered, but I don't give a crap. It sounds great, looks great, it's a reasonable price and results in GREAT power

i have seen both, and both look good. I'm sure its just a slight change they made over the production period of the exhaust. Personally i rather have it stick out a little farther, it will most likely keep the back bumper a little cleaner longer

Not to mention the occasional fireball. Nobody likes half melted bumpers Originally Posted by Trail Slide

oooooo so that's the way i'm supposed to install it. I have my second to rear hangar pushed into the rubber hangar so the rubber hangar is twisted 90 degrees instead of using a bolt like the op did. LOL at myself. how stupid. it should have came with instructions for me because i never thought of using a bolt.

The exhaust slips together and is then held in place by a high quality SS band clamp. The exhausts you see that stick out too far are because some people like them like that and others just didn't push the muffler onto the catback pipe far enough when they installed it. It is "adjustable", I guess that's what I am trying to tell you. haha
