Driving shoes? Puma? Astars? Pilotis?
Not sure if anyone here likes shoes...but I do (and not afraid to say I'm a little nutty when it comes to Pumas haha
) but only because I really like their driving shoes. I recently bought a second pair of Puma Trionfo II on Black Friday. After I first drove with these I never really went back to normal shoes. Even when I have to dress up I try to slip into the Pumas before I drive
It improved my driving noticeably.
I think next I would like to try some Astars or Pilotis so if anyone can give me reviews on those that would be nice. Otherwise, what shoes do you wear when driving or racing on the track? I know the Pumas are worth the $$$ to me but what about the others?

I used to be a "Shoe-Head". I stopped collecting because I realized how much money I was spending on shoes. I still have all of them, a lot of them deadstock too. I'm more in to Nike's and Jordan's though. That's what I usually drive in... Nice Puma's, BTW.

Nice, haven't seen that color combo in store yet
I love Nikes too but I can't wear them to drive, the thick soles and the wider width makes it hard for me to shift because I'm used to thinner width shoes. I do think they have a solution to my problems though, I need good dress-shoes but for driving so I'm going to hit up Cole Haan for that
I "collect" Pumas but the different between me and some of my buddies is that I actually wear every pair
He likes to put them on the wall...nice but it would be nicer if he actually wears them!

i really liked my alpinestars (gloves also, and now have one of their suits for our TA program)
if you want a TRUE track shoe, i think they are best.

Helmets are a Very personal thing, depends on person to person, same as suits.
