HDR picture thread
Nice shot, I think if the HDR was toned down on the car a bit it would've made it even better. Using HDR brought out the walls and all the other details nicely, like its supposed to, but for me the car is a lil too crazy hahaha. Still nice for how most people like it
OT: I wish I had some software so I could do some HDR myself hahah.

didn't use a crappy P&S.
Nikon D40 without a tripod so I'm using RAWs and doing psuedo HDRs.
I also know nothing about real photography. I just mess around which I think is the idea and essence of photography. There is no set way to make good looking pictures.
Shoot me for it.

seriously, natural rendition like yours is the best way to go IMO. im sure you could get your car brighter if you messed with it some more. but the best way would be to meter the different areas when you shoot them. +2,0,-2EV work pretty well but more shots depending on the scene will prob work with less effort and better results
that would be a whole nother topic. may not realize it but there are alot of them, used in adds, tv shows and movies especially.

never said you had a PS. But i do remember saying that your picture is one of the best ones in this tread. IMO and alot of hdr photographers, these overdone shots are missing the point of hdr is all i gotta say.
