You take a bunch of the same "frame" at different F stops by changing shutter speed, kinda like doing brackets, then it's all post processing on the computer to compile the image. The finished product is actually a composite of many pictures taken at various settings in terms of exposure level.

First google search for HDR...

My first HDR.. didn't turn out like any of the good above ones (pretty shaky) as I didn't use a tripod with my Canon SD550

I don't use HDR very often unless I need to. I do like to use it in Landscape though. Brings out great colors in the Fall. Not so much for cars, but I do use it for cars on occasion. Here are some of mine. Not all cars. Not all Evo's.

My Mirage... pre-turbo

Buddies old school 'lude

Buddies RSX

My Evo, like 3 days after I bought it

My Mirage again

Some landscapes

One of my dog's! His name is Red He behaves rather poorly, but he's too damn loveable to be angrey with for too long

Quote: +1.... looks like the expose levels were excessive on both ends. HDR is supposed to look exactly how the human eye sees it.
+100 agh im getting so sick of all these HDRs being done this way

HDR photo's give the illusion of good photography IMO. They look cool, but are over used now.

That's true. I think this photo has more like a computer rendered post-apocalyptic movie look to it. It's a bit saturated but still kinda cool if you treated like "300"
