Does anyone have any pictures or can provide some insight on the color of the Defi BF Imperial gauges vs the stock gauges?

I don't think I can deal with metric gauges...I am pretty sure I want Imperials but I hear they don't exactly match the factory colors.

These are imperial pictures? It looks like the second picture's boost gauge is metric but its too hard to tell....

I know the metric BF-R's match factory and if I remember right they are deemed 'red'. Arent the imperial BF's deemed 'amber'?

If these pictures are both imperial's then they look good!

They are the same color buddy. Imperial just means that it's in Bar instead of PSi etc. It has nothing to do with the color of it. BF's come in two colors....white....and amber....that is all.

 

imperial is in psi and metric one was in bars, also its the same color as our cluster

 

Defi's imperial should look the same with stock speedo.

I've seen his car in person, very clean interior. Defi's are a very nice touch. I'm bebating the same thing if I want to shell out that much for them or something else.

 

How did you attach the control unit near the bottom of the console? I've tried 3M double sided tape and it still falls off. Tips appreciated!

lol wow...I'm flattered bro but I'm not that blessed! lol I do have a beautiful fiance that loves me, but no job (living off savings as a poor graduate student) and without my gf's, friends', and EvoM's help my car would never get to this point so thank you guys!

Thanks Rob, Defi's are worth the money IMO, but if you don't want/need the BF's Link Unit you should go for the Racer gauges, still very nice in my opinion!


I actually did use the 3m but I used the 5lbs per inch red ones. They're pricy but they work great! You can find them at Home depot! I just put 3 lines on it and it hasn't moved since
