To answer your question 03lan-evo, I believe most people don't powdercoat they just use High-Temp spray paint. Some take it all apart, some do it while the caliper is in place. I'm gonna do it in-place because I'm lazy, have never dissected brembos, and I think it will turn out fine that way regardless. One can only see the face of the caliper through the wheel spokes anyway.

If anyone could answer my question at the bottom of page 12 that would be appreciated!

03lan-evo, I spoke with someone at Brembo before I did mine and they said not to take the caliper apart, but to use the brembo coating as a primer and keep the caliper together.

I'm thinking I'm going to paint my calipers Gold on my TB. I know Duplicolor has caliper paint but the only color options I've seen from them are silver, black, red, blue, and yellow. Where can I get hi-temp Gold paint?

Box Rocket,

I used VHT paint http://www.tcpglobal.com/spraypaintd...per-paint.aspx, they offer a gold color and the paint is good up to 900 degrees. I am really happy with the results. You can see my step by step here.

the VHT clear sucks in my opinion i used it on the stock red and it turned them really ugly red after they were dry

the evo just sits in the garage so ill get them done soon and post some pics.

Hey sarge,

You can just search "hi-temp brembo decal" on ebay and there are a few places that sell them, thats where I got mine. Or you can go the stencil route.

Duplicolor has Engine Enamel in Universal Gold. It's hard to find, I had to call around and ONE store had A can left. I think it turned out well. Much more reflective than the stock red.

Thats a funny whoops. After you put on the decal, throw a couple of light coats of clear on and you are good to go.
