saw a sic pic of gold brembs on an rr

im contemplating powdercoating mine yellow or candy purple on my rr.

 

Thinking about going with either silver or gold with black logos on my 06 MR with factory BBS wheels...car is Rally Red...opinions?

Cell pic, but you get the idea. Used the dupli-color caliper paint kit, red of course, with brand new Brembo vinyl's from Ebay. Brakes are glossy as hell, look very bright in person!

Im going with black on red for my TB, brake fluid is killing my brembos.

 

came out good wish the pics where better =] ive been having the same kit for more than 4 months havent used it and always wondered how it would turn out

good ideas in here. i just ordered red stickers. when they get here i will decide either gold or black for paint. leaning towards gold though. think it would look good with my black car. i eventually want black wheels too so gold would look sick. if i end up going bronze wheels i'll repaint to black with bronze stickers

 

 

I did the rears first today to test the color (Dupli Torque N Teal). It looks nice under the satin black NT03 rims.

 

Here's how one of mine came out, compairing its size to the front brakes on the elise. The angle makes them looking uber ridiclious.

 

Not normally a huge fan of that color, but with the satin wheels it looks great.

1 can of vht caliper paint satin black one can of clear...

sanded all old clear off to you get to the red...taped...about 3-4 coats of color 3 of clear...


prep work taping etc is the hardest...had decals decided to keep them all black...my car is basically all black anyways...

 

the black ones are the business.
