its a bit loud but i have the gauges exposed there not in a gauge pod or anything so it will be louder than normal. As for the needles they move like water ver fluid like the boost gauge is a bit off (1-2psi but from what i here the defis are the same) and it wont keep up if your a fast shifter like myself

You have the STRI gauges correct? because I believe the Defi racer gauges have stepper motors but I cant hear mine at all but the needle moves fine and the readings match with my OEM boost gauge.

yes i have the stri gauges, but the racer gauges are not what i was refering to, im sorry if my wording was incorrect. but im not sure but is the boost signal right at the back of the gauge or in a remote location under the bonnet
