Sweet...its nice to see the photos and the progress of building a monster. Sure is one way to get people fired up about winter modding!

SICK ! would be sick to see the original drag car and that run side by side.

Hey while you are at it my motor needs a rebuild, just put it on that guys tab. At this point I bet he'll never notice or at least it wont put a dent in his wallet=b

Aside being a few lbs heavier, this car should be every bit as fast as the drag car. It has the same engine, head, turbo kit, rear end, driveshaft, trans, transfer case, clutch, staging brake, etc.

This car is actually going to be SO much nicer and safer than the drag car.

Nice build guys!

One question though, the roll cage seems to be an interesting design. The bar that goes thru the top of the front dash, I usually see that bar extend all the way back and welded to the main hoop behind the seats. I'm not sure on the design of welding it at the top of the A-pillar. Almost ALL the cages I've ever seen are never in this design. It seems to be taking the easy way out.

Not sure, maybe a drag cage is supposed to look like that, but I know 99% of road racing cages I've seen would never be designed like that.
