Go for it! I think it will look unique with it being graphite grey instead of black.

Before I got my Evo I was considering powder coating my G35 rims and I think it was somewhere around 150 each with repairs.

No, I didn't talk to anyone. A friend had his Porsche done in Maryland and it was 150 per wheel I think with repairs.

Once you get some mileage on wheels, i would powder coat them for a refresh.

500 bucks? what a damn rip off. Save another 350 and pick up a set of 18x9.5 Nt03s. Why would you pay 500 dollars to change the color of stock wheels that aren't even worth 400 dollars. Aftermarket is the way to go man. Just save a little more and stop playing with stockers.
