I'm going to jump in and say don't do the red stripe. I'm so sick of that dark wheel red lip. And it being gray instead of black, basically makes it look like the one you see on all of them with some brake dust.

I would powdercoat them. However, I'd have them done all in one color. No red lips for me.

Not feeling the red lip at all.... I would save the money and get decent tires or wheels later on instead. Have you though about bronze? I think that'd be a nice color if you do decide to coat them
