looks good man... congrats on the wheel purchase....I had saw those for sell and would have liked to get them...but I have no cash for wheels/tires right now until I sell the ones I have that are practically brand new and have no use for because of bolt pattern

Did you replace the trunk assembly (CF, FRP, etc) or did you remove the wing and bondo/sand it? It looks good. I've considered doing the carbon trunk/hood thing and selling off the Evo VIII trunk and wing. I think no wing looks better than the small wing on an Evo. If you do any high-speed driving, be aware of any high-speed lift in the rear. I've heard that's where the big wing really helps.

The body shop filled all the holes, removed the badges and painted, as far as stable at high speeds, at first i though it would make a huge diffrence, so I unbolted the wing and went on some high speed turns on the freeway, and I didn't feel any diffrence, I guess like a bmw m3 with no huge wing it still handles like a dream, after that test run I took the car to the bodyshop.

The reason I mentioned the wing is because a couple of reputable tuners have told me that the lift is pretty severe at speed. If you notice, the M3 has a small lip at the rear. I was thinking about getting a CF piece made in that style in case I do remove the wing. I would also get a diffuser for the rear (probably from Monster Sport) to add a little DF. Just a thought. Looks good.

Chris,

I would love to have the tiny tail like the M3, when you unbolt the wing off your car ( which takes 10 minutes ) take it for a spin, I think you would have to be at absolute limits to notice the wing performance, but for my driving style I think I had to go with what looks better to me.

by the way I love the blue color on the evo, also the intercooler pipe you have on , would you say it helped the flow by seat of pants.
