Wheels look killer on it but IMO the wing is needed to balance the aggressive front end of the EVO. Perhaps an M5 style lip spoiler is needed.

according to rays you have a little more than 2"s for a lip? but in the pics it doesn't look at that big...what is the lip size?

I had the front plate off but for some reason i like the wierd plate to the side look,


the tires I am useing are 235/40/18 which are almost idntical to the stock rolling diameter, and no rubbing what so ever , even the car at its limits,


the lip on th wheels are about 1 inch,

which exhaust did you go with?

how much room do you have from the wheel to the fender?

I thought that the 255 would rub so i played it safe, I have the ultimate turbo back with high flow cat, the 9 inch wide wheel comes close in width as far as fit, from top of tire to fender is about two fingers.

 

I just want to let you know that your car is the best evo w/o a spoiler that i've seen thus far.

I also noticed that you blurred out your license plate. You forgot to blur one of the pics just in case you didn't notice.

 

thanks for the head up, I didn't blur the plates at first, then an officer friend of mine told me if anyone runs the plates at DMV which is public records, they can track down the car and try to rip-off your aftermarket goodies, so I just blurred them since it takes only five seconds. also thanks for all the positive feedbacks

 

I meant from outside of the tire to the fender...as in width.

strange that you only have about 1in lip, since on Volks they say you have much more than that with the +29 offset.

VERY CLEAN EVO. Prob the only Evo that I think looks really nice without the spoiler. Love the red accent on the rims, very nice.

BTW, are you in the Los Angeles area?! I could of sworn I saw you in Glendale as I crossed the street going to my Mom's friends house. Those red lining on the rims and wingless look are rare.

 

Nice mod, Man. Liked those black rims with red lip. Kinda reminds me of getting the Ralliart Evolution R-01 black/red lip. So far, your car looks JDM for those taillights and Euro for those UK badge. Wingless looks cool too. Nice setup. Just keep it up.
