Did you start it without the radiator?

Congrats on the fire-up. I had to finish for a local Saturday meet as well! It was the maiden voyage.

Yep, quick startup w/o the rad. Didn't even let the motor get warm. I'm hoping to wrap it up tonight...if not, over the weekend.

Congrats on your maiden voyage!!

I'm well past the maiden voyage stage, that was a couple months ago - I'm into the breaking parts stage.

Ahhh, read that wrong! I was supposed to have it done for a big meet tomorrow but I don't want to rush the last couple things. I'd rather be safe then sorry at this point as i've put WAY too much money into the car this winter.

After 10+ month of hibernating, the beast is outside for the first time! It's actually pretty sad seeing what condition she's in. First stop, detailer.

Still need to throw the rad hoses on and fill it with coolant. Also need to figure out if I have a bad coil or some fouled plugs...easy fix either way.

Don't mind the crappy pics.

I'd hold you down with a serious detail. Congrats anyways. Almost done and ready to roll.

So are you gonna be ready for Saturday or what? I can't imagine she'll be broken in by then...
Looks like a trip to the powerwasher is in order.

Either way, congrats. Hope to see it out soon.

I'm at the same stage in fixing stuff...just need to add coolant after rebuilding the turbo kit around an ETS manifold after my old RNR cracked.

Is that your to-do list written on the window? I opted for a notepad.

I know all about the "spending too much money"!

Yep, that's my "To do" list. I use metallic sharpies and wipe it off with carb cleaner. The spending too much money club sucks....I can't wait to be done with this thing.
