Just goes to show you that you should do your own research and take what you get here in these forums with a grain of salt (heck, even mine
) stretched tire gives you stiffer sidewall and a much more predictable body roll. I have been rocking stretched tires a while back on every car I have owned (v-dub, hondas, acuras, and now my evo) I have street driven, even auto-x with them and had no problems, none. (Just have to be really careful parking
) I have always loved the flush shakotan look. the only way to achieve this is to have a slight stretch on the tire so that you can make the rim flush to the fender and have no rubbing issues under full compression. I guarantee you that you can get any rim you want but if you dont have the proper offset it doesnt matter. Case and point with the Cyber Evo, this car looks so good not just because its widebody but it has the hippari tires with the super shakotan look. A flush wheel with some negative camber will always look better than a fat tire on a wheel with sunken fitment IMHO.If hippari tire are good enough for the Cyber Evo, Its good enough for me.
And to the haters, I love you too.

well now, its funny that ppl are not even acknowledging the fact that the cyber evo is on stretched tires. And this is a race prepped car, hmmmm.
