Matte black finish EVO (Stealth Paint) ??!!?!
The wrap (vinyl) is a good alternative because it is cheaper than painting the car (as long as the job is done right) here is a GT-R that is done up flat black vinyl.

I do agree with ppl, the evo has to be done up for the flat black to work out. With a stock evo it just looks like a beater. the do-luck widebody evo looks ****!
I want to do the flat black but I would have to get the evo a little more crazy before I would go flat black (which is in the works... hehehhe ^_^)

I contact somebody in order to get some information also about this wrapping process for cars.
Definetly if U have good service and profesional people trained into this....it`s ok.
I give them time to check every angle form for EVO and I hope I will recieve an aswer soon about this. They use carbon black and fade black 3M film to
Meanwhile I will check more about that.
LM3232 Matte Black SE is the colour code from Glasurit and 22M974 CARBON BLACK.
The thing is that sometimes you don`t see the difference between paint and film.
Here all our cabs (taxi) ar made with yellow sticker. Yellow colour from factory commes with 200 euro extra if U order th car. So only option is to order the car white, dark blue sea or red. After that in order to get the license cab they must have the cars yellow so they wrap all the car in yellow stickers.
This looks ok for a taxi.....but realy......I dont wanna go with my car "paint like a taxi"....with sticker that after 3 , 4 months will make air pillson it.
I will see......
Now.....I know for sure that this collage process can be done and the result can be more than exceptional.
You will be surprised if someone will add a EVO with chrome alumminium sticker on it....
CAR WRAPPING VINYL(FILM) fit with repositionable acrylic high performance adhesive. The adhesive is protected by bleached kraft paper.
Film is developed for complete foil wrappings of vehicles. The combination of its low initial adhesive force and its softness provides an excellent re-positioning ability. This unique combination allows to easily remove bubbles that accidentally emerge during the wrapping process.
DURABILITY: 5 years based on artificial ageing test and weathering at
vertical positioning (90° + 5°) and under average European temperatures.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
24 hours prior to the examination the film is adhered to stainless steel plate. The plate undergoes a preece test or a spray test over a specific period. After the drying the adhesive force is measured.
PROCESSING
Cleaning and degreasing of the surface
The vehicle’s surface is cleaned with a cleaning solution in order to completely remove dirt and dust. Afterwards the surface is degreased with isopropyl alcohol.
Film is adhered dry directly to the vehicle. We recommend to use a felt ductor in order to avoid smears and scratches while pressing on the film.
In order to adhere the film to arched parts, it must be previously heated up with a hot-air blow-dryer.
Looks very nice I would say..

I have a flat matte car ( Dupont Hot Rod Black ) and house of colour custom flat grey. Both cars are a pain in the but to keep clean. Can't use any wax. Only use soap and water or what I use it glass cleaners. All other will leave streaks on it. If it rains, it will leave water spots like no other. Looks great an all but for every day driver I wouldn't suggest. If u get a scratch, u can't just buff itout, you have to re pain it. If you really would like the flat murdered out look, go for it but know it's going to be a pain in the ***.
