i was looking at the Cf Se lip from ebay for my evo ix ....anybody have lip on their evo ix from ebay? if you do could you post some pictures? i searched for hours and couldnt find any...

im sure the cf weave will be ok but the problem is it wont fit without modifications is my guess been my experience with ebay parts back in the day on my dsm

 

look for bayson R products at ebay i got my lip from them for my evo 8 and the fitment is perfect.

 

Bayson R FTW...I have their ralliart style lip for the 9 and i couldn't be any happier. Also, I have a discount/coupon from them and i will try to post the code on here if i find it.

 

Ok i have the Ebay lip on my EVO, however it is the Fiberglass one and not the CF one. Fitment is perfect. However this will give you an idea of how it looks.

The lip looks good though painted rather than in carbon fiber

 

I think that it is just the way the sun is catching it on the edge where it comes together with the bumper, because seriously they matched the paint pretty darn good. I think that it is just a photo effect, but whatever. At least he gets a idea of what the lip looks like

 

Always remember you get what you pay for. The longevity of the part will prob not last as long as something with better quality.

Ok... Not always true. Study has shown that generic food is just as healthy as more expensive food. often namebrand product and generics come from the same manufacturer. THere are some cases where more expensive things are better, but that is not always the case. I've had my front lip since 2007. Not a single problem with it. By spending less money on the lip, I could spend more money on my engine.

A blanket statement saying "remember you get what you pay for" is assinine and rediculous. A well educated, researched purchase is much more intelligent then simply buying something that is more expensive becuase you think that the quality is better.
