Hood vent screw/clip
Anyone know the Mitsubishi part number for that little black plastic screw that holds the insulation and hood vallance to the hood?
I took the vallance off to get some wax off of it and dropped one of plastic screws into the engine bay and it was never heard from again! I still have the other three holding it up along with those horrible spring clips but would like to get a replacement part. My local Mitsu parts shop has not been helpful in getting them in even after repeated requests. I figure with the part number I could buy them online from another parts supplier.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I don't know the part number.
But, I have found that the Lowe's here in town has an amazing amount of plastic automotive fasteners of many types. I am sure you'll pay less from Lowe's, so it might be worth a shot.

I might be a bit off topic.
I think everyone should consider to buy a tool that you use to pick up item. There is 2 kind. One with magnet and one with a grabber. This tools can reach some area which our hand can't reach. It's really helpful since I'm using both of them. I find many nuts/bolts/tools that I drop into the engine bay.

Just to let you know, you'll get raped buying that screw at the dealer. I lost one of those pop-out screws from underneath the car (the jackpoint cover), and went back to the dealer to buy a pair. They charged me $5 for two plastic, flimsy screws!
Now what if I lost 20 of those screws. That's $50!
