I always love it when people modify their bbs mr wheels. Must make BMW guys jealous.

 

The striping was pretty easy. Easier than I thought actually. I just sat in the floor with them and took my time. I used my index finger and thumb as a guide around the wheel.

The powdercoating was only $200 locally. The asshat tire place scratched my wheels so they wanted to get them repainted and I said no go. They gave me the $100 they were going to spend to get it repainted and I was only out $100 for powdercoat and $4 for the stripe.

 

Looks great. It's kinda strange that this is exactly what I want to do to mine. I was thinking flat black or some thing just a little lighter but yours turned out nice.

 

Well, it's no problem bsmart82 b/c you're in Texas. How about I meet what I think is the owner of the ONLY other RR IX MR in Memphis and he tells me he wants to do the same thing !

those really do look hot as hell!! never was a big fan of stock wheels painted or anything but yours are topnotch!!

 

Wow at first glance, those definitely looked aftermarket.
