Man, If I had a lot like that near me I would never get anything done... FC's, FD's, R32's, Evo IV's, Evo V's....

Alright, to keep you guys updated; I bought the car today. It's getting the Japanese emissions inspection (JCI) tomorrow. I've only driven the car once and I'm already getting mods before I drive it again. I'm getting an Evo VI bumper, HID's, Tints, Blacked out headlights/LED's and a sound system all before I can say I've drove it a second time!
I'm also getting some rims here within the next 2 weeks. I'm thinking some Enkei NT03+M 18 x 9.5. I will not stop until my car looks similar to this:

got you a evo 5 nice. glad you did not get the skyline save some serious money for mods. just remember to build this thing and a year before you come back to start saving so you can pay all the fees involved in getting that back over here
Not to doubt the OP, but I'm going to bet that that car never makes it back to the US. Not saying its not possible, but it's pretty unlikely. You know how many Marines that were stationed in Oki planned on bringing their Skyline or WRX or whatever back and actually went through with it? Very very few.
I live right next to Camp Lejuene so I'm pretty sure I would see at least a couple JDM cars that Marine's have brought back. I'm not sure if I've really seen any. It's just a long expensive process that usually ends up not being worth it in the end from what I'm to understand. A lot of the cars that are even brought here are grey market. Definitely more power to you if you can do it though.
My buddy whos stationed in Oki is saving to pick up a Spec-C STi and ship the car back here and use it as a donor car into a bug-eye. He already has a JDM WRX there and an 06 STi here. Freakin Subaru lovers.
