changed my position on this subject

i went back to oem front ull post pix

REAR WILL BE A PAIN TO MOLD just remember

APR is think so it's easy

AIT is thick will be hard, with horrible consequences following that

not beacsue of the front fenders i like those but because the rear only option is to bolt it on and i want a clean look not nissan community bolts on rear quarter panels

wow, front came out nice and WIDE!

What if you riveted the rears and then mold over the rivets? Would that be a cleaner look?

if you install these panels they should be molded over on all corners.

I might pick a set of these up before I go to my 18x9.5 +25.

These would do great on a track only car, especially if you paired them up with the ARP GT front bumper like I have. The bumper says "stock-fitment" on the site, but when you install it you can tell its made for wider fenders.

Looks like a good, cheap project for a budget racer like me

yeah, thats what I thought as well. to make it look cleaner, but apparently it's harder than I thought reading Mattevo's post.

post pics when you get it done! I'm debating if I should go widebody or not.

Good question. Does anyone know how much wider the front Voltex fenders are then stock? Also what about the Voltex double over fenders, how much wider than stock are those?

I don't even think these ATI +35mm are going to be wide enough for me. APR front fenders are +45mm but they don't sell them alone.

Anyone know who makes the widest front fender on the market?

covering the rivets won't do for me

+45mm allows your to run a 10" wide wheel with 305's all the way around. Not sure why you would want to go that wide. It makes the car very twitchy, almost like it drives like a new car. I prefer 275's myself but thats just my opinon

as long as youve got a good body shop, covering the rivets and molding wont look bad at all. if they cant do a simple process like that, take it somewhere else. once you go wide though, you cant ever go back to stock

yup.. and alot of people dont realize how expensive body shop cost can add up. I've got an awesome body shop near me but they charge so much just to paint things, let alone to fiberglass work

to actually fiberglass it to the body

i dont see the advantage of either.. no matter what you do your hacking your OE fender up and thats an irreversable thing

im not that good with bodywork but I would think it would be easiest to rivet it to the body then fill in and smooth with body putty or fiberglass

http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com...il.php?ID=7208

5 inches wider then stock.

anyone interested in doing a wide body feel free to pm me and i can help you out. i spent a huge amount of time researching them and im in the middle of the build right now. im just waiting on the rear bumper 1/4s trunk and wing now.

I would kill for that kit! haha I love the HKS WideBody

I'm probably going to be tackling the rear AIT widebody kit. Sponsor just got back with me and I can get it wholesale so why not. I'm probably just going to rivet it on and leave it at that. I dont even know if I would paint it?
