Operation Revival 2003 Evo 8

Ok if you guys have been in and out of the lancer forums most of you may have seen or heard about my 4g63 swap in my lancer, well tha have on been put on hold since i was lucky enough to come across a deal that i could not refuse on a 2003 apex silver evo 8 from a friend of mine who crashed it shorty after building it with a buschur bottom end and fully building the head with various parts.Anyways the damage to the front has been repaired and is now in good shape I am getting this evo for 3500 without an engine and with 2 5spd tranmission which one has a damaged housing and the internals of the other is not too good so basically i'll take 2 of them to make a good one.here is the pic of the car with the way it sits now expt the rims it has konig hotswaps on it now YUCK!!!! but i will post more pics when i pick the car up on monday when I can do a further examination on the car and provide a diagnosis to determine the treatment it needs

here are a few pics of what it looked like before the crash
very clean well put together evo with lots of power

Change out the tails ASAP. Are you going with a prebuilt motor or OEM to start fresh how you want?

well right now i am just focusing on getting the car on the road even if it means going back with an oem motor but it will be modded eventually just need it driving once it is to that point I will be focusing on the exterior to get it back in top shape again.I am planning to change the tails to jdm but why do I need to change them asap?

Most people don't liek the stock 8 tails because of the "alteza dark times" that hit late 90's. lol And yeah, i'd go all OEM just to get it back on the road ASAP. But that's me

well honestly I don't like the chrome housing tailights nor the chrome housing headlights but like I said that is all first to change when I get the car running also along with replacing the C west rear bumper with a JDM one not sure yet about the front bumper anyone have any suggestions on which bumper to get or what should I do to make the OEM front bumper looks more aggresive.edison I am not sure what the name of the cf hood is but it is no longer on the car since it got damaged in the crash

$3500 ?!?! With that low of a price the sky is the limit to what you could do! I'm truely jealous. Can't wait to see how it turns out man

WOW! That's a really cheap price, since it seems like it's mint.
I'm shocked that you're getting it for $3,500.
Is it salvage?
If not, than you're PERFECT.

yeah it was involved in an accident but all the body work and paint has been done as seen in the first pic..... but he has taken the buschur motor out so i am basically in need of an engine but 3500 is an awsome price compared to when he was asking 7000 for it before

Thanks spoolnEvo.Here is the deal he has decided to give me his 6pd jdm transmission with the car instead of the original 5 spd.as far as my knowlege goes this 6 spd should be a bolt in along with the 6 spd shifter box correct? Is there anything else i would need wo make this work?
