Yes titanium lug nuts are very expensive.
However compared to most titanium lug nuts these are relatively inexpensive. Most titanium lugnuts range in the $500-1500 range.

We have them on special on EVOm

They are designed for longer studs so you can run spacers if needed as pictured below
No need for the nuts to be threaded to the top. There is PLENTY of thread (more then stock) on our lug nuts
