nice pics bro...I was the co-driver of the wingless GG evo9 on RPF1s...Evo's did well that day..fastest on street tires Only thing to beat us was one of those damn miatas

 

yeah, you had some damn good runs. EVO's usually are among the fastest when they've got the tires. my fronts were decent, but the rears are almost showing cords. the last event i ran before that one was the Krewe of Cones, i had a fresh set of RT-615's and finished 4th fastest of the event ahead of i dunno how many guys on R-Comps. this event i just didn't have the tires. i ordered a fresh set, but they didn't make it on time. i should be on a fresh set of NT05's before the next event so i'll be ready.

Z06's never do all that great at autocross events. all the power is pretty much useless on a course where the top speed is 70-80mph or lower. they can't put all the power to the ground, so it doesn't help. that guy is a really good driver, but he's used to running R-Comps. this event he was on street tires...not as forgiving lol he just went into the corner carrying a little too much speed and ...nom nom nom nom nom nom
