well then its not for you. the bumper sits low and i have not and will not lower my evo. you have to turn parallel to ramps and such but gives the car a nice lowered look. its all good im sure if you damaged it you would just replace it.

 

Anyone tried the Evo IX replica bumper from ebay? It says its made of 7 layers of hand laid fiber glass, but I am always wary of ebay products. Here is the link

IX bumper, its hard to pull off a good body kit...a lot of kits look fugly

 

OEM. Either of them, or shave the triangle off the VIII bumper, I think that looks best.

I haven't seen an aftermarket front bumper yet that I thought looked really good. And I especially disapprove when the front emblem ends up being removed.

sup dude the product is made by ait racing im sure its fitment is perfect and good qaulity. Check my sig i rock there products. the problem lies with painting. the front bumper will come extremely rough and will need to be gelcoated and sanded and repeated quite a bit to get it smooth for paint. make sure you have it baked as well then you will be pimp tight. expect to spend around 500-600 just to get that painted CORRECTLY unless you know somepeople and get some discount action or go with a cheap paint job that will develop problems. hope this helps

 

C west is more of unique compare to evo ix front

c-west is fugly! look at your fmic not fitting right....some c-west kits r okay like evodave's but the rest are FUGLY. dont do it....i had one traded mine for a 9 front and its the best trade i have ever done!

 

My car came with a c-west front bumper.
After around 18 months of owning it Ive just switched from it to a genuine IX front and 9MR ralliart splitter.
Transformed the front end completey. 110% prefer it. Got the DAMD carbon sideskirt extentions so all suites nicely.

I could go on a long rant why having an absurd front bumper is only acceptable if paired with absurd fenders, side skirts, rear, etc. but I'll spare you that. Keep a clean look, and just refine it with subtle changes like JDM HID's, JDM tails, JDM rear, etc. Or support EvoDave. Or do it yourself!
