It was my first run at a track up in the mainland since I moved to the NW from Hawaii. I ran ok considering that my 3rd to 4th syncro was bad, and my car in need of a tune.

The run with the 08+ STI

The first vid was against a lightly modded 09 STI, he ran a 13.1 @ 104, I ran a 12.9 @107.

The second race was a by-run because they wanted to test how loud my car was, so this one i had the silencer in and ran a 12.7 @106...I still got kicked off w/94db

Seems like an Ok run to me but I am not much of a drag racer. I was thinking to go to RacewayPark wed night.

 

yeah im the same way, but I was visiting, and it was the only thing that seemed fun since I dont know what to do over there.

 

You can get kicked off a drag strip for being too loud? That sounds ridiculous to me!

 

thats what I thought, but when they said that its limited to a certain time of the night, then I kinda agreed.

 

Yeah at the track near me its the same way. Sometimes the whole day is like that if its sunday Only muffled I think not sure though.

 

high 12s witht hose mods uh id expect low 12s high 11s

 

Damn with 280s, TBE, Self Tune, 1000ccs, 255 I was running 11.9 and multiple 116+ traps
All on 93 pump gas. 24-25psi.

You need some serious tuning.

 

Ihear ya guys, I never got it retuned after i got the intercooler, cams, and cam gears in..plus the third to fourth gear syncro is bad, and now that i think about it, i might need to raise the 2 step a little higher. Thanks for ur info though
