Classy shifter knobs that don't raise height?
No, I don't have a short shifter. The gap occurs cause of the way the Momo knobs attach - they're not screwed on, they have that base plate that covers the 3 allen screws that tighten the knob. Unfortunately, due to the washer built onto the shifter, you can't move it down any further to accomodate, at least, not unless you get a momo shift boot or something like that.
I got a momo raptor. It raised the height considerably but **** is this thing comfortable. I bought it when I had my tints, so the shop did the install and it doesn't come loose at all

I moved it down so the knob actually didn't sit that high, but that's just how it'd look if you were interested.

the OEM accessory is nice. i have that also. lowers the height just a bit and the shift feels solid now.

The gap is purely because of the design of the shift knob. You just don't tighten as high up on the thread to get it lower. The only surefire way to kill the gap is to get a Momo shift boot. I think the one pictured in the one above might be a Momo boot..
