My GG Evo IX with 18" x 9.5" Rota DPTs & 275/35-18 NT01s

These aren't high-quality "show and shine" pics by any means, and my Evo is pretty beat up/scratched up, but thought I'd post them anyway just to help out anyone thinking about getting 18" x 9.5" DPTs. I got these wheels from Dan at wheeldude.com:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...evo-8-9-a.html

Mine are the 35mm offset DPTs in matte black. I needed the 35 mm offset in order to get clearance for the wide Nitto track rubber. These are my track day setup, not my daily drivers. Each tire/wheel weighed between 47 7/8 lb. and 48 1/2 lb. (a lot of variance because of the different amount of stick-on weight required for balancing). While this is about six pounds more per corner than my Kosei K1-TS wheels in 17" x 9" with 245/40-17 Dunlop Direzza Z1 tires, the extra inch or so of contact patch should be worth the extra rotating mass at the track.

No spacers are required for this setup, but depending on your negative camber, ride height and spring rate you may need to roll your fender lips. With the really wide 275-section width tires, I get some rubbing on the inside of the front fenders when turned full-lock.

And finally, what is arguably the most interesting shot I took all day (even though it doesn't actually show my Evo):

Thanks... wasFWDnowAWD is right; that tubing is for my front brake cooling ducts. The hose I got at HPRworld.com:

http://www.hrpworld.com/index.cfm?tp...action=product

- and the black plastic air inlet is made from black ABS plastic plumbing pieces from Lowe's.

Also, yes, it's an Agency Power exhaust.... good call CT9AP1.
