I feel the same way. I did the IX swap after just a few weeks of owning my car due to a hit and run, but I didn't want to front like I was rolling a IX.

Now i need to do the chop. I don't want to leave the middle empty like so many seem to do though. What is the best way to get the black mesh and Mitsu emblem back in there? Is it as easy as using a IX grille and emblem?

 

Subscribed, gonna stop by my body shop and discuss this method vice what they were telling me, "cut it out and glass it"

 

What is the best method to mount the Mitsubishi emblem after the chop?

 

I bought evo 9 grille and emblem, but car is at the paint shop so is not installed yet. Attached is a photo how it looks without it...
