New Goodies Delivered

Been a very good week with parts arriving every day from the delivery guys.
Got the intercooler and wideband installed, still waiting on some more parts.

New laptop for tuning (Wanted smaller, but this was smallest on dell's site with internal cd/dvd drive. Still waiting on tatrix cable because I didn't think my laptop would be here until end of month heh)

wideband w/gauge for tuning (lc-1 w/dynotune square gauge)

exhaust manifold (Still waiting on o2 housing and egt probe before install)

New Alarm for car (Waiting on conversion of my rs to power locks before install. Bought panels, switches, wiring, motors from forums)

Intake Manifold (Going to get TB (boomba?), fuel rail, and injectors before install)

New intercooler (ets 4" widetank)

New clamps (already blew off a charge pipe a couple weeks ago =\)

Current mods on the car are perrin intake kit, buschur tbe w/ test pipe (bullet), and ets 4" widetank intercooler and few rexspeed cf pieces for the exterior (ducts, spats, wing, pillars, and vg). I'd eventually like to get an FP Red and 2.3L, but we'll see what happens since I'm trying to do everything myself. Picture of car pre mods. Need to take some new ones o.0

Baseline and intake dyno

Thanks for looking. I can tell you guys that I'm addicted to boost like crack now o.0. Actually I should say AWD Boost. Driving my friends grand national was fun the first few pulls, but no traction 1-4 on the street gets frustrating really quick lol. I must say I enjoy the evo forums here so far. I come from a honda background and I've found this site far more useful for me than the honda-tech forums ever were. Previous Car for kicks.

Really? I found HT to be very useful when doing builds, advice, comraderie, etc...especially when it came to ITRs...it's a VERY tight-knit group. Did you every go to any of the EXPOs or Thanksgiving meets? A lot of the ITR guys have gone to race professionaly and/or are part of national circuits. *shrug*

I'm also new to this forum...but I have found that this forum has as much (if not more) fanbois than the later. It's not as bad as the Supra or Corvette forums...but it's up there. :P

Thanks, My laptop hasn't died yet (Actually using it right now while I'm catching up on the Harry Potter movies), but I have had a couple problems with it. First one, was that I was unable to order the laptop with XP (supposedly you have to call and ask for it, but it's not on the website hardly any of the laptops). Second one, I keep getting a bsod when trying to load xp on it (has vista). I really prefer xp because it doesn't use as many resources and generally runs faster and more stable. I've tried about 10 different cd's with xp on it and they all result in the same error so I guess I have to call Dell and request a special cd =\.

There are just so many different Honda's, but the site hasn't made up for it in the design. For instance, classifieds are for all honda's. If I want to find something, it takes hours to sort through one day's listings and the FS forum moves so fast because of this it's nearly impossible to find ****. The ITR forum was fairly useful, but like you said they are a very tight nip group. I went to a couple expo's and meets, but none of them seemed too friendly besides the standard handshake and name exchange unless you were a forum *****. So far though I have not had any of the same problems on this site or with the people at the few meets I have been too, every has been really friendly and the information has been easily found on the site.

I see what you're saying. It's a HUGE site...prior to the IB take-over, it was always in the Top 20...over 300+ thousand members! *sigh*...but a las, it's a lot different now. I'm a moderator over there and it's hard for me to just "walk way."

Good luck with the car, man. Hopefully I'll be seeing around.

I know what you mean. I still visit the forums at least once a week to window shop even though I don't have a honda any longer I still wish they would seperate some of the models of the cars (like the type-r forum) for easier navigation

I'll try to get some pictures of the intercooler and exhaust installed this weekend when I go back down to the garage.
