Just repainted the brembos

I just finished repainting my brembos, was a pain but well worth it. Used dupont caliper paint and engine clear. Got the logos from EBAY. Also installed Racing Brake ET-500s and Racing Brake SS brake lines.

The begining

The worst one, I think the previous owner bent a wheel into the caliper...

The stock size 3.25" logo on right and a 4.25" on the left.

Before the clearcoat, brembo logo 1.25"

All finished, only took like a week and lots of sanding. My advice is to use a dremel, cut the time down to almost nothing. Came out pretty good, pics make them seem a little orange but they are just a little brighter than the stock color. I will try to get a pic off them side by side with my buddys stock ones for comparison. Tried to post just the picks but it was not working, sorry.

Is it necessary to take the caliper all the way off?

Um no, I have seen a couple people do it with them still on the car. I didnt want to deal with overspray, plus I put on the stainless lines so I was laready going to have to rebleed. I just made it a project and did everything at once.

Much better. That one caliper was in terrible shape.

nice they look like a deeper red in the last pic. I just hope it holds up. I'm assuming that's a rattle can clear. Those are crap because they have no catalyst and don't harden fully like real clear I shoot.

Im hoping so too, I have to drive 3miles of dirt every day and havent had a chip yet so things are looking good. Even got some ralliart mudflaps to save the paint.
