Custom Heat Shield
Hey guys,
I got tired of looking at the crappy Mitsu exhaust heat shield every time I open the hood. I didn't much care for most aftermarket ones. Most of them wouldn't cover the entire exhaust manifold. So, I had one made out of 18g stainless by a local fabrication shop. It took a few tries but I think it turned out okay. I added some insulation to reduce heat and some pan head bolts to give nice clean finish.

It may take some time to find out something. The place that made it doesn't mass produce and market products such as other larger companies. They made mine as an individual request. To do anything different, they will proabaly need to consider cost of shipping, packing and all the other stuff. I sent them an email and a link to the thread so they can see the interest.
All I can suggest, is if you think you might be interested in getting one is to indicate so. Perhaps with enough people listed they will become interested in doing something. I'll post something should I hear back from them.
