need a car cover...
Have you ever put the OEM one on the car while the car was hot?
I am really doubting that the hood portion will hold up. I could see it melting and making a big mess/stink all over the heat sink in the hood.
Damn cheap plastic.

I agree. I've never put the OEM cover on the car while it was hot. I wait at least a few hours until it cools down before putting it on. I wouldn't trust that car cover holding up right after driving the car. I think the material is just too thin to handle that kind of heat.
It says that you should not put it in the car because it could melt on the exhaust, but it doesn't say anything about the hood causing problems. Of course, it is pretty much universal instructions for any make of a car.
"If your car has a removable antenna, take it off" and stuff like that......
Boo....Bad Mitsubishi......Bad.
