From the Monster Sport reply to my email:

Thank you for our accessories.
I'm sorry but it doesn't fit on the Evo8.
Yours sincerely

I sent another email asking if they were planning on making one for the Evo8 and also asking what parts they had right now that would fit.
Let's see what happens.

my car would scrape all the time if i got one of those espically since i've allready lowered my baby... they look cool as hell though.. how functional are they really? if they aren't too expensive i wouldn't mind having one of those on my car to scrape and tear up...
The Monster Sport one does make downforce - most of the Japanese shops wind-tunnel their stuff - that's part of the reason it's all expensive...
Since that Monster Sport doesn't fit our cars, I think it's going to end up being the C-West front bumper with that AAR carbon-fiber hood and trunk...

I bet the Evo VII front clips would mount to our cars with a little bit of modification. The primary difference was with the anti-intrusion bar and the fact that they had to set the bumper further out from the FMIC. Still, I am not a fan of the Evo VII front end. It looks too blunt for me. I think with the C-West Evo VIII front clip and that AAR hood and trunk, my car will be smoking hot. Now if I could only make up my mind about which wheels to get...

How about some Volk's like D's?
I love those.
Actually, if you are going to still go all out racecar with this, I have heard rumor that a few companies out there have CF wheels as well. I know they do for bikes, so they should be available for cars, just not DOT approved, I assume. But that shouldn't matter in your case.
Right now I am torn between the following wheels (maybe you guys could give me your opinions - price is not a consideration):
BBS RS-GT or RGR or CH (plasma finish) - I do have fitments for these (all 3)
WORK Meister S2R or Emotion CR Kai in gunmetal
OZ Racing Superturismos (2004 version - to be released soon)
I love them all - I just can't make up my mind. Any suggestions???
Also does anyone know if C-West makes that Evo VIII front bumper in CF? If so, I might just get that and leave it unpainted. There is a SICK Cusco WRX in all carbon on the cover of Super Street. MAN!!!!

Josh - seriously, if someone (Bozzspeed, C-West, etc.) came out with CF front fenders, door skins, etc. I would get all of it. When I had my S2000, I priced out the entire C-West kit (front to rear in CF including the doors) - $10,000 w/o the installation. If I remember correctly the weight savings was something like 300kg (almost 700 pounds). That is ridiculous!!! I love CF. The guy who ordered his Pagani Zonda in clearcoated CF gets
!! I remember back in 97 when Porsche had the 911 GT1 in testing without paint - just the Kevlar/carbon body in all its glory. So damn sweet. Also, there is just no posing when you have high-quality CF.
Value - I still have your PM about the C-West stuff. Do they make a CF front bumper for the Evo VIII? I think I am going with the AAR hood and bumper, but I REALLY want that C-West front clip. Let me know - also if you can get any of the wheels I listed above, please let me know about those, too (all 18x8.5 - gunmetal finish unless listed otherwise). Thanks, man! Mahalo!

P.S. I just noticed some hater posted low on my car rating... weak... from 9.7 to 9.3 in one vote. Filthy bastard.
