Just got home from a local meet, I had my '03, there was a guy with an '01 VII RSII, an IX RS, and an X GSR so we lined them up for some pics.

Even though i am the owner of the 7 i would have loved to have been the owner of the 9. White 9 RS is what i always wanted.

Pretty rare sight to see, especially at a DSM meet.

 

The x seems to hint back to the VII with the more square angular front fascia. Pretty cool.

I'm with ya there, I'd sell mine in a second if I could pick up a clean, stock WW IX RS for a reasonable price.

Here's a bonus shot, seeing the VII reminded me of the pic I took at the '01 NY auto show, when Mitsu decided to tease us with the idea that they were finally bringing the EVO here.
