Is the reinforcement bar on the loose edge still attached? If so you should just be able to press if back down and it will catch on whatever it's normally attached to. I've noticed this happening on the passenger seat if someone is holding onto the sides of the seat during some spirited driving. I've had it pop up like that several times and I was able to just press it back into place.

+1

It should just snap back on.

you dont have to take anything off. just feel around under there, there are three parts that the plastic grabs onto. just roll it back under and it will clip on. it will prob pop off again but its such an easy fix. mine usto do this all the time but now it has stopped

The same thing happened on my '03 non-MR. I know the OEM Evo seats are Reacro, and Recaro is one of the top names in automotive seats, but I'm really not impressed with the construction of the factory Recaro's.

mine does it a couple of times a week. i had the stealership look at it and they said that its not covered to have them fixed. but i agree for being recaros having the edge of the seat come undone makes them feel cheap

I just clipped mine back in. If it doesn't stay, you can always super glue it down.

There are little plastic clips that clip onto the seat frame under the seat. You should be able to stuff it under, give it a little push towards the other side of the seat, and upwards and catch the edge. Its really easy.

My seats do this too; push it back down so it clips under and then repeat every few days

If you reclip it properly, it wont come off again...unless its broken. The way the clips are designed, they are pretty difficult to get off. (I do car upholstery for a living)

anything you can suggest?

i tried to clip it back on (there is a long plastic clip that attaches to 3 metal hinges to the seat bracket - also noticed there is a smaller clip attached to one of those 3 metal hinges) - sorry this is pretty hard to explain

how the hell do i get it to stay on there? it seems to clip on fine but then the next few days it just comes back up again
