Looks good though.. what products did you use to clean it up?
6 hours to do a full detail? Including paint correction? If so you have to tell me your secret because a full detail usually can take a weekend. Depending on the severity of work that needs to be done to the paint of course.

The shine lasts for a long time. But the feel of the wax doesn't--maybe a couple months. Right now the body of the car feels like an air hockey table. I'm trying out this new wax which the detailing guys rave about how much longer it lasts.

I don't do anything to protect it. The smaller images you see there don't show the little rock chips, but they're there, just not as bad as other cars this old. The car's main purpose nowadays is autocrossing and I don't drive it much - about 55k miles on her.

I thought about it. But the main reason for this detail was that I got some spray paint overspray in random areas of my car. The claybarring completely took care of it. My car doesn't have too bad of swirl marks, so I decided against it.
