You did A LOT of work in one day. That's bad ***, especially considering it was done in a garage. Damn good job!!

Thanks for the comments folks, I am glad that you are enjoying them

so I could barely concentrate at work yesterday, because I knew the minute I would get home, my full race manifold would be waiting for me.

I also knew that all my new housing for the 35r would be on the turbo as well... Hopefully with some luck we can fabricate the downpipe , dump tube and lower IC pipe...

Basically the full race mani makes the turbo sit a lot lower than what my previous manifold did..

On to the the mock up pictures... I apologise if they are redundant , but I am a bit of a picture ***** when it comes to this kind of stuff

the new Tial cover

the coated GT turbine housing

and checking out fitment with the radiator
.

I will post more as always , enjoy

P.S I want to give A BIG THANK YOU TO Jake from TIALSPORT... you are the MAN jake....thank you for all the housing stuff..

Thanks craig... hopefully the car makes some decent numbers... Its my DD so I don't want anything too crazy

Tsidrift-- the 1G is my BABY.. I have had it for a long time.. It is a 2.3 with GT42 set up and 125 shot of nitrous... I am currently undergoing a MANUAL to AUTO swap... oh and its FWD lol
here is a quick pic of whats under the hood of that car... her name is Janet

previous pics of the dsm

I don't care that it is FWD to tell you the truth... it was my first dsm and I WILL NEVER sell her no matter how silly it is to have a high HP fwd car..

^ they have two different spring rates in each... each opens under different load characteristics...just an experiment that I was doing..since I am on a FORD maf.. its not a HP thing.. it is for driveability. Or maybe its the fact that I am a ricer

That's awesome man, I wish I had that much time and experience to work on my car. Maybe one day when I retire.

Neteru... I answer the twin BOV question all the time... there is some thought to my maddness though ...

The 1g when it was a manual, was blowing the tires (26 by 9.5 slicks) to the 1000' mark. The car also has 55" inch wheelie bars behind it too. It will never get traction to be honest. However I am being optimistic about it, after this auto conversion is complete.

eldiablo79--- It just takes a little imagination, patience and research, but anyone, anytime, can accomplish whatever it is that they put their mind's to.

Tech note: If the spring blows out, you won't be able to get the TOB because the clutch doesn't have room to engage/disengage. Be prepared to have to undo the pressure plate from the tranny port hole and get in the back way. We spent hours and hours learning this the hard way. Granted, we had no idea why we couldn't get the TOB at the time.

My talon is also my baby! I am very close to parting her out though. I just would like to move on to the evo.

Is it worth it to keep the dsm around and just move slowly on the evo? Mine is nowhere near your potential, just a clean dsm with a 50 trim and all supporting mods.

I really hate to sell, but would love to get a FP red on the evo running e85 and all!
