I recently purchased a RMR catback from a member on this board. My car is down right now getting some body work repainted due to vandalism ( got keyed the other day) . So being bored this morning I decided to take it upon myself to see if I can make my used catback look like new. Keep in mind that I have NO detailing experience, and everything that was applied was done on a very small spot first to make sure I wasnt going to ruin anything.




-the bottom was before. the bottom piece is also the DP, I didnt do that because I am going to have it ceramic coated.

turned out pretty good I thought. I used Blue magic metal polisher and a soft brush to clean it off initially. then I used 2000 grit and turtle wax rubbing compound, cleaned it off and used the metal polish again with a soft cloth..
