I didn't, I actually had this exact same intercooler and my hp and torque dropped. After a retune and a boost increase it was golden though. I loved this intercooler's looks on my VIII. Was heavy as hell though.

I know.... flat blacked out... same thing though. Only difference is the amber. I just say JDM headlights because it's shorter . (I did have JDM tails though).

 

I dont understand the whole stealth concept? I mean for something like this intercooler which is street legal then why the stealth? For other cars that want to race?

 

I only did it because I thought it looked good. I liked having a big chunk of black there. I was going for a black and red theme. Black, red and aluminum didn't go together. I'm doing the same thing with the X, but grey and black.



On a side note, I never understood the stealth exhausts. Of course your car has an exhaust, why hide it?
