i don't think the reduced visibility of the brake light is worth painting it. The heads look good.

I used Rust-Oleum paint for the front and rears. It has a little bit of reduced visibility but you can clearly tell I am braking at night and during the day. Thanks guys.

If you meant that I painted over the tails then yes it is smoked. I used VHT and clear and just kept wet sanding.

Did you remove the amber from your headlights? And if so how?

You have to bake the headlights for about 16 minutes and then pry them apart. You will notice that the amber piece is seperate and is attached by 3 tabs. There are two on the sides and one on the bottom I believe. You have to use something really thin (I used a flat head) and pry the bottom one out. Once it is out you can wiggle the two on the sides out. Just be very careful because you can easily break the tabs.

Yes, that is what I meant. I used the VHT Nite Shades to smoke my sidemarkers.

Did your sidemarkers come out glossy and clear? My tail lights had to be sanded or else they looked like crap.
