Hello,
Just got a 03 Evolution that's currently coated in "Blue By You". Even though the color is nice, i've never liked blue cars and the car also needs some body work so i'm just going to get the whole car redone.
I thought I wanted Black but I remember my second car was in Obsidian Black and it was a p.i.ta. to keep clean. When I did car washes outside the soap would dry in a matter of seconds on a hot day.
If my memory recalls correctly, I can see steam coming out of the vents. I don't think I want to attract anymore heat so I guess black is on the bottom of the list.
I've always loved White Evolutions. I guess because before I got my license I use to spend long days watching and playing Initial D. Who could forget the white Evo 6 and Evo 4? Beautiful cars.
Right now Pearl white is on the first choice list, but i'm open for suggestions.
The shade of white I was thinking was 370z or Evo X white. Please throw suggestions if you guys have some nice shades of white.
My father has a Chicane Yellow 370z and upon further inspecting it I guess I could come to an agreement that a Chicane Yellow Evo with carbon fiber accents would like good.
Just another option.
-Mitsubishi Emblems are going to be coated in Candy Apple Red
-Headlights are hazy so i'm going to have buff and clear coat it. I also want the inside housings done in gloss black. Does anyone know if this will affect light output?
-Tails are going to be replaced with JDM ones.
-Why, oh WHY did the brembos fade!? Going to be powdercoated red.

Man, i just dropped off my car at the body shop. I thought I wanted that red but now i'm changing my mind. This sucks! lol
It's so hard because when he showed me the book of colors, there was at least 40 different variations of each color.
